Meet Pum, a 75-year-old man from Cambodia. Pum enjoys listening to the news on the radio and loves taking care of his 17 grandchildren!
Pum has a mature cataract in his right eye. “Pum’s vision began to blur three years ago,” shares our medical partner, Children Surgical Centre. “Since then, he has had a hard time conducting daily activities and relies on his daughter to help him.”
$150 funds the cataract surgery needed to remove the mature cataract in Pum’s right eye and improve his eyesight and prevent future blindness. Let’s help him out!

Pum received cataract surgery to restore his vision.
“Pum is so happy that his eyesight has improved now that his cataract in his right eye is gone” reports his doctor at Children’s Surgical Centre. “Pum looks forward to taking care of his grandchildren (but hopefully not all 17 at once!). And he is happy that he can go anywhere on his own.”
