Meet Pum, a 75-year-old man from Cambodia. Pum enjoys listening to the news on the radio and loves taking care of his 17 grandchildren! Pum has a mature cataract in his right eye. “Pum’s vision began to blur three years ago,” shares our medical partner, Children Surgical Centre. “Since then, he has had a hard time conducting daily activities and relies on his daughter to help him.” $150 funds the cataract surgery needed to remove the mature cataract in Pum’s right eye and improve his eyesight and prevent future blindness.
