Senaf is a three-year-old girl from Ethiopia.
Three months ago, Senaf started to experience gasping breaths, an elevated fever, pervasive snoring, and restless, broken sleep. She was diagnosed with enlarged tonsils and adenoids, and if not treated, will cause her symptoms to persist and possibly intensify over time.
Our medical partner, Saglan Wajee General Hospital, is requesting $700 to fund a tonsillectomy for Senaf, which is scheduled to take place on June 4th. Surgeons will remove her tonsils, hopefully relieving Senaf of her symptoms and helping her live more comfortably.
Senaf’s parents shared, “We simply cannot wait for the day our child is truly well, a day when we’ll see her bright smile shine unburdened once more – a smile we’ve missed beyond measure.”
