For the first five months of his life, Elton was healthy. He was able to move his arms and legs around freely and babble (to his mom’s delight).
But Elton’s head circumference started to increase in size, and he became less active than he used to be. He was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, an abnormal and potentially fatal accumulation of fluid in the brian.
“We were all happy when Elton was born,” his mom says. “It is our prayer that he will get well, have normal growth and eventually become an independent young man, helpful to us and the society as well.” For $905, we can fund Elton’s surgery and support his mom’s dreams for him.

Elton received a shunt insertion surgery to relieve the pressure building in his head.
His operation was a success!
“I cannot express the joy that I feel inside my heart. My baby can now smile at me!” says Elton’s mother. “He is feeding well and I am very happy with his progress. I can only ask for God’s blessings to all those who have made the surgery for my son possible.”
