Kilta is a baby from Ethiopia. He is the eighth child in his family. Kilta’s parents are traditional farmers.
Kilta was born with an anorectal malformation, a congenital abnormality that leads to a complete or partial intestinal blockage. He needs to undergo a series of procedures to eliminate bowel dysfunction.
Kilta is scheduled to undergo surgery to correct his condition on March 1. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $1,500 to cover the total cost of Kilta’s procedure and care.
After his recovery, Kilta will no longer experience bowel dysfunction or be at risk of developing health complications in the future.
His mother says, “My husband is a traditional farmer with low income and I am a house wife. We have eight children to support and for this reason we can’t cover our boy’s medical bill. It is our hope that we get your help so that our child can be as healthy as any other children.”
