Nyirajambere is a farmer from Uganda. She is a widow and a mother of five children.
For about 15 years, Nyirajambere has had an inguinal hernia. This has caused her severe pain and vomiting over the last few months, making it difficult for her to farm. Fortunately, on July 18, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Nyirajambere’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably and confidently.

Nyirajambere did not receive treatment as expected.
Unfortunately, she did not arrive at the hospital for surgery, and our medical partner has been unable to contact her. If she does come in for surgery, she will be re-eligible for Watsi funding.
