Agnes is a 30-year old mother from Uganda. She earns a living through a small roadside grocery business where she sells tomatoes, onions, cabbages, and other household items. To supplement the family’s needs, she also practices small-scale farming. Her husband works as a boda boda motorcycle taxi rider. Together, they are raising three school-going children, and when she is not working, she spends her time caring for her husband and children. During her free time, she enjoys taking care of her family.
Agnes is currently expecting her fourth child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a Caesarean section because of a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Agnes undergo a C-section on September 2nd. This procedure will cost $252, and Agnes needs your support in raising money to fund the procedure.
Agnes shared, “It will be a blessing delivering under your support because for the past two times I’ve delivered by surgery. I kindly appeal for your support for the success of my delivery.”
