Tukamuhebwa is a primary teacher from Uganda. She is married with three children, all of whom are studying in secondary school and university. Her husband is a business man.
For the past year, Tukamuhebwa has been experiencing severe abdominal pain and other troubling symptoms. She has been diagnosed with uterine myomas. She needs to undergo a hysterectomy, a procedure in which surgeons will remove her uterus.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $208 to fund Tukamuhebwa’s surgery. On January 11, she will undergo gynecological surgery at our medical partner’s care center. Once recovered, Tukamuhebwa will be able to resume her daily activities free of pain.
Tukamuhebwa says, “I hope to be relieved of this condition and continue with my profession of teaching.”
