Sokchan is a 38-year-old restaurant cleaner from Cambodia. She is married and lives in Kampong Thom with her husband and their two children. Her husband works in construction, their daughter works as a cleaner, and their son is in Grade 8. In her free time, she enjoys watching the news on her phone and watching movies. On September 6, 2025, Sokchan was struck by a car in a road traffic accident, causing a closed fracture of her left distal femur. She initially received traditional Khmer medicine for about two months, but her leg did not heal properly. Since then, she has experienced severe knee stiffness, significant limping, and shortening of her left leg. She now relies on a crutch to walk and struggles to move normally, making it difficult for her to return to work and carry out her daily activities. Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre, can help. On August 11th, Sokchan will undergo a fracture repair procedure, which will help improve the alignment and length of her left leg and restore better movement in her knee. It will make walking easier and help her return to work and perform her daily activities more comfortably. Her family can contribute $75, but needs help raising $525 more to fund her procedure and care. Sokchan said, “I hope the treatment will improve the alignment and length of my left leg, make walking easier, and help me regain better movement so I can return to work and carry out my daily activities more comfortably.”

Vili is a 58-year-old accounts officer from Malawi. He is married with four grown children. Due to worsening pain from his condition, he is no longer able to work, and his wife, a primary school teacher, has since become the sole breadwinner for the family. Two years ago, Vili was diagnosed with a right inguinal hernia. Over time, the swelling became more frequent and increasingly painful, affecting his concentration and eventually forcing him to stop working altogether. Fortunately, on May 6th, Vili will undergo hernia repair surgery with the help of our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare. He is raising $575 to fund the surgery, which will allow him to live more comfortably and confidently. "God has shown me Mercy to reach this far, and I have hope that your support will change my life. I am patiently waiting for your consideration," said Vili.

Myat is a 24-year-old woman from Burma. She lives with her husband and her daughter in a village in Mae Sot District, Tak Province, Thailand. Her family moved to Thailand early in 2026 for better job opportunities. During her free time, she likes to spend time playing with her daughter and helping with household chores. Myat is currently expecting her second child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section due to a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child. Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is helping Myat undergo a C-Section on July 20th at Mae Sot General Hospital. This procedure will cost $1,500, and Myat needs your support. Myat said, "Our family income is not always enough to cover our daily expenses, so we would not be able to pay for my C-section surgery without your support. You will help two lives, me and my baby.
