Meet Souen, an 83-year-old man living in Cambodia. He has seven children and 25 grandchildren! Souen enjoys going to the local pagoda to listen to the monks speak.
“Soeun began losing his eyesight gradually due to the mature cataracts in both of his eyes. He is now partially blind,” our medical partner tells us. “He is sad that he has to rely so much on his family to care for him and he cannot recognize anything or anyone.”

Soeun received a small incision cataract surgery to improve his eyesight and to prevent further blindness.
His surgery was a success!
