Babra is a 29-year-old woman from Uganda. Earlier in her life, Barbra’s education was cut short when she became pregnant in Primary 7. Tragically, her first born child passed away at just six months of age.
Presently, Babra lives with her husband and three children. She and her husband depend of farming for their livelihood. They live in a modest two-room mud house on a small piece of land.
Barbara is currently expecting a new baby. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section due to a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Babra undergo a C-Section on March 10th. This procedure will cost $207, and Babra needs your support.
Barbra says: “I am grateful for the services provided by Ibanda Hospital. However, I am unable to raise the funds needed for my procedure, and kindly request assistance. I hope to have a successful surgery, after which I will continue farming to support my family.”
