Ilsa is a 46-year-old woman from remote western Guatemala. Recently, Ilsa visited our partner clinic after experiencing heavy abdominal bleeding. There, she was diagnosed with stage two cervical cancer.
Ilsa was diagnosed early, so her cancer is treatable. But she does not have the money or local resources to access the radiation and chemotherapy she needs.
For $1,500, Ilsa will undergo radiation and chemotherapy for cervical cancer. This includes the cost of transportation to a nearby city so that she has ongoing access to care. Let’s help cure Ilsa of cervical cancer!

Ilsa received radiation and chemotherapy to cure her of cervical cancer.
