Kitinisa is a farmer from Uganda. She and her husband cultivate food for home consumption and sell the surplus.
Since 2012, Kitinisa has had an epigastric hernia. The hernia causes her pain and discomfort. She is not able to lift heavy objects, farm, or eat to her fill. Fortunately, on March 21, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Kitinisa’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably.
She says, “After surgery I will resume farming with my husband.”
