Patience is a small-scale farmer and a mother of two children. Her little ones are 6-years-old and 9-months old. Patience and her husband both work as farmers and live in a two-roomed mud house.
For about two years, Patience has been experiencing severe hemorrhoids. She shared that the condition makes it difficult for her to tend to the farm. Patience tried herbal treatments in the past but could not find relief. When she learned about our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare (AMH), Patience visited the hospital for review, where doctors determined she needs to undergo surgery to heal her condition.
Fortunately, AMH can help Patience finally heal. She is scheduled for surgery on February 3rd. AMH is requesting $145 to fund her procedure.
Patience says, “With surgery, I hope to live a normal and happy life again. I feel helpless after trying several medications without improvement. I hope to proceed with farming after complete recovery.”
