Victor is a five-month-old baby boy and the youngest in a family of two children. His mother used to sell clothes before she gave birth to him. Since then, she has tried to go back to the business but hasn’t been able to pick up where she left off. His father does any work he comes across to provide for his family.
Since birth, Victor has had a left inguinal hernia. If not treated, the hernia could cause intestinal tissue damage or even death. Fortunately, on May 31st, he will undergo repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is requesting $444 to fund Victor’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Victor’s mother shared, “as a parent, I am really looking forward to when my son will be treated but I don’t have the funds for his surgery. Any financial help will be highly appreciated.”
