Nataniyere is a 67-year-old farmer. He lives with his wife, Tilia, in the Central Region of Malawi. When he is not working his land, Nataniyere can be found spending the time with his family.
Since last year, Nataniyere has experienced great pain and urinary difficulty. He was diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia, also known as an enlarged prostate.
Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine (WAM), has scheduled him for a prostate resection procedure on April 18. This procedure will remove part of his prostate to improve his urinary function. WAM is requesting $733 to fund Nataniyere’s surgery.
Natanieyre is confident going into his surgery. He says, “Once my surgery is over, I will be so strong! I will be able to work again!”
