Akampa is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. He is married with two children; both in school. He does farming along with his wife to support their family.
Akampa came to the hospital with swelling on his right thigh for more than two years. The swelling has been progressively increasing in size as is now painful, sharing that he feels discomfort and disfigurement.
Akampa traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On July 21st, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Akampa needs help to raise $196 to fund this procedure.
Akampa says “I will glorify God’s name when I’m treated and I become free from this disfigurement. I will continue to farm to support my family.”

Akampa underwent a mass removal.
Akampa underwent a successful surgery to remove a mass from his thigh. He has started to move around the hospital and is already experiencing less pain. He also has greater peace of mind and once fully recovered, he will have an improved quality of life.
