Arip is a student from Tanzania. He is the oldest child in a family of two children. He just completed his early childhood education and will be joining first grade this year. He says he loves singing and coloring pictures at school.
For two years, Arip has been experiencing difficulty breathing, especially at night. Arip was recently diagnosed with enlarged tonsils, which, if not treated, will cause his symptoms to persist and possibly intensify over time.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $633 to fund a tonsillectomy for Arip, which is scheduled to take place on January 18. Surgeons will remove his tonsils, hopefully relieving Arip of his symptoms and helping him live more comfortably.
Arip’s father says, “Ever since we were told to find money for his surgery early last year we have not been able to get the money and his condition keeps worsening. Please help my son if it’s possible.”
