Faith is a baby from Tanzania. She is an only child in her small family. Faith’s father is a motorcycle driver, and her mother is a stay-at-home mother.
Recently, Faith has been experiencing regular fevers and sleep apnea. Frequent illness has caused Faith to make repeated visits to the hospital. Faith was recently diagnosed with enlarged tonsils, which, if not treated, will cause her symptoms to persist and possibly intensify over time.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $633 to fund a tonsillectomy for Faith, which is scheduled to take place on October 19. Surgeons will remove her tonsils, hopefully relieving Faith of her symptoms and helping her live more comfortably.
Faith’s father says, “Please help my daughter get the treatment needed for her to be able to eat and breath well.”
