Agnes is a 69-year-old married mother from Central Kenya.
In January of this year, Agnes started experiencing irregular pain in her lower abdominal region. Her local hospital gave her some medication, but it did not relieve her symptoms.

Agnes did not undergo a successful surgery.
Her surgeon was hoping to remove the affected right kidney, but unfortunately, he found a large tumor that has adhered to her heart. Further treatment plans will be determined by the biopsy results. She will likely need chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
We are committed to reporting all outcomes transparently—even the ones we wish were different. Thank you so much for your support of Agnes and her family.
