Chandy is a ten-year-old child from Cambodia. He is one of seven children. Chandy likes to watch TV, read books, and play football around the house.

On February 22, surgeons at CSC will perform a burn contraction release surgery on Chandy’s right hand to allow him to move easily again and relieve him from pain. They are requesting $194 to fund this treatment.

Chandy received burn treatment.
Chandy’s treatment went well. Surgeons at CSC fixated wire into four fingers of his right hand and performed skin graft procedures to heal his wounds. Following the operation, he was given pain medication, and he was instructed to keep his right arm elevated to prevent swelling. He had two weeks of physiotherapy at CSC before being discharged. Chandy is now able to use his hand more easily than before.
Chandy says, “I can use my hand better now. Thanks to CSC for helping me.”
