Kobusinge is an 82-year-old mother of two children from Uganda. She has no source of income and depends on her daughter, who lives with her. Both of her children are small-scale farmers.
Ten years ago, Kobusinge began experiencing lower abdominal pain and other troubling symptoms in a sensitive area. Now, she is unable to walk long distances or dig. Her grandson learned about our medical partner on the radio and decided to bring her in for treatment.
Fortunately, Kobusinge is now scheduled for gynecological surgery on March 15. She needs help raising $287 to pay for this procedure.
Her son says, “If we had money, our mother wouldn’t have suffered for all this time. We see her in pain but we don’t have what to do to help her out; we have no money.”
