Shallon is a 31-year-old businesswoman from Uganda. She is a mother to three school-aged children. She runs a small-scale retail shop with her husband and lives in the back room of their business premise. During her free time, she enjoys listening to the radio.
She is currently expecting another child. Her doctors recommended that she deliver via a caesarean section because of her three previous scars from previous deliveries. An attempt to deliver without caesarean section may result in a fatal uterine rupture.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is helping Shallon undergo a C-Section on March 21st. This procedure will cost $252, and Shallon needs your support. With a caesarean section, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Shallon says “I am looking forward to a successful delivery and I hope I will get your support to actualize it.”
