Lucky is a 32-year-old small-scale farmer and mother of two from Uganda. She has a certificate in education, but she was unable to get a job in her field, so she turned to farming to earn a living for her family. Her husband works as a driver. They own a three-room house, which accommodates their eight-year-old and two-year-old, in addition to Lucky and her husband. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Lucky is currently expecting her third child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via Caesarean section due to her having two previous scars. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both Lucky and her child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is helping Lucky undergo a C-Section on August 19th. This procedure will cost $214, and Lucky needs your support.
Lucky says, “I pray that I may have a successful surgery with a positive outcome. I am looking forward to having my third child. I will continue with farming after I complete my recovery.”
