Musiimenta is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She is married with six children.
Two years ago, Musiimenta has been experiencing lower abdominal pain and backache. She has been diagnosed with cervical fibroids. She needs to undergo a hysterectomy, a procedure in which surgeons will remove her uterus.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $208 to fund Musiimenta’s surgery. On March 26, she will undergo gynecological surgery at our medical partner’s care center. Once recovered, Musiimenta will be able to resume her daily activities free of pain.
Musiimenta says, “I hope to live a better life after surgery and continue with cultivation for the support to my family.”
