Isaac is a joyful three-year-old boy from Uganda. His parents, Moreen and Isaac, felt immense happiness and excitement with the arrival of their first child, even naming him after his father. Isaac loves to interact with everyone around him and is rapidly reaching milestones as he learns to walk and speak.
Moreen works as a small-scale farmer, while her husband works as a boda-boda operator, a popular motorcycle taxi service in Uganda. Though they strive to provide for their family, they are currently facing a significant challenge.
Since he was six months old, Isaac has been suffering from a hydrocele - an uncomfortable swelling in his scrotum that causes him pain. His mother has also noticed that she cannot feel his left testis, which adds to their concern. Although they have scheduled surgery for Isaac, his parents are unable to afford the necessary medical costs.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Isaac receive treatment. He is set to undergo hydrocele repair surgery on November 4th to address his condition, relieving him of his pain. Now, Isaac’s family needs help to fund this $146 procedure.
Isaac’s parents say: “We are so worried about our child’s condition. We can’t bear the thought of him blaming us for not taking action sooner because we couldn’t afford the surgery. We kindly request your support.”
