Kazahura is a 67-year-old woman and mom-of-seven. Her husband passed away and she works as a farmer to support their family.
She has had many troubling health symptoms over the past year, including general body fatigue, backache, and lower abdominal pain, which impacts her ability to keep farming. Kazahura has never been to the hospital due to limited finances. She was urged to visit Watsi’s Medical Partner Care Center Nyakibale Hospital. Upon her visit, she was reviewed by the gynaecologist and diagnosed with uterine prolapse. Doctors recommend she have a transvaginal hysterectomy and now Kazahura needs help raising $243 for her treatment.
Kazahura says: “My only prayer is that you support me financially for my surgery and, once that is covered, I hope the rest will be fine. I will continue with my farming.”

Kazahura underwent treatment for uterine prolapse.
Kazahuza had a successful hysterectomy treatment to finally treat her condition of protruded uterine prolapse. She is so happy that her health is in good condition once again and hopes that she will be able to resume with her normal duties well as she continues to recover.
Kazahura shared: “May the Lord bless you abundantly for having saved my life. I will always pray for you to succeed in whatever you do so that you may continue helping others.”
