Brenda is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She is the firstborn and the only girl among three siblings. Her two brothers work in the bodaboda motorcycle taxi business. She is married and has three children. The family mainly depends on farming, growing food crops such as beans, maize, and groundnuts primarily for home consumption and selling the surplus to earn a small income. During her free time, she enjoys cooking for her family.
Brenda is currently expecting her fourth child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section because of a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Brenda undergo a C-Section on January 15th. This procedure will cost $252, and Brenda needs your support.
Brenda says, “With your support, I hope for an active and healthy baby because without your support, I am not in a position to raise the amount of money they need for my surgery. I kindly appeal for your support.”
