Niwahereza is a second grade student from Uganda. He is eight years old and the youngest child in his family. His father is small-scale farmer, and his mother is a nursery teacher.
Since birth, Niwahereza has had a left inguinal hernia. This swelling causes him a lot of pain. Fortunately, on March 6, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Niwahereza’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Niwahereza’s father says, “I hope my son will be relieved of this condition and he continues with his studies in a comfort way and I too continue with cultivation for the support of my family.”
