Srey Mao is a 29-year-old woman from Cambodia who was badly burned in a 2011 car accident. She has already had two reconstructive surgeries for her injuries at our medical partner in Cambodia.
Now, Srey Mao needs a contracture release surgery and skin graft on her hand, as the built-up scarring is making it difficult for her to perform everyday activities.
Srey Mao is a single mother of two. She lives in a rural village with her aunt. They love to cook together. For $300, we can help pay for the surgery to improve function in her hand and help her provide for her family.

Srey Mao received surgery and a skin graft to heal her burned hands.
The surgery released Srey Mao’s thickened scar tissue and her wounds have healed quickly. Thanks to your support, Srey Mao was able to return home with increased hand movement.
