Sai Ya is a five-year-old boy from Burma. He lives with his parents and grandmother in a village in Tak Province, Thailand. His father is an agricultural day laborer, and his mother is a homemaker. Sai Ya enjoys playing games on his parents’ phone.
On October 3rd, while playing tag with his cousin, he fell and broke his left upper arm. Sai Yu is in severe pain, his arm is swollen, and he cannot move his arm.
With the help of our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, Sai Ya will undergo surgery to reset his fractured bones and ensure proper healing. The procedure is scheduled for October 3rd and will cost $1,500. Sai Yu will no longer be in pain, and he will regain movement in his left arm.
Sai Ya’s father shared, “When I first saw my son’s injury, I felt very anxious and stressed about medical expenses. I was very worried due to our financial situation. I hope my son will get better soon. Once he recovers, I can go back to work and support the family.”
