Mugenyi is a farmer from Uganda. He is married and a father of ten children. Mugenyi and his family are refugees who migrated from Congo and now live in a refugee camp.
For one year, Mugenyi has had a hydrocele, which is a swelling in a sensitive area. This causes him pain and discomfort and is affecting his ability to work on his farm. Fortunately, on August 8, he will undergo hydrocele repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $185 to fund Mugenyi’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
He says, “After surgery I will have peace of mind.’’
