This wide-eyed little guy is Andri, a one-year-old from Guatemala. Andri gets frequent intestinal infections, which lead to poor appetite and weight loss. He’s not developing motor skills or growing at the rate he should be, which has his family worried.
Andri’s parents come from a poor rural area. Our medical partner, Wuqu’ Kawoq, says, “They have limited food to feed their children and no economic ability to pay for medical care. They’ve been very concerned about how poorly Andri is doing, and they’ve come to us looking for help.”
For $535, Andri can receive intensive nutritional therapy to help him start growing again. This will stop his infections, improve his appetite and get him on track to a healthy childhood. Let’s help him out!
