Ambi is a 60-year-old mother and grandmother from Nepal where she lives with her family. She helps her son and daughter-in-law by looking after their children while they are away at work. Ambi also takes care of cattle to earn some income, but she earns barely enough to get by.
Recently, while working in a cowshed, Ambi injured her toe on a stone. Although she applied local herbs to the small cut, hoping to heal it, her foot became infected. Ambi is unable to walk because of the pain and cannot continue with her daily activities.
To get the appropriate treatment, Ambi needs a proper dressing and antibiotic, a $205 treatment. Doctors at our medical partner, Possible, say that with treatment, “Ambi will get rid of the pain and her limb will now be safe. She will be able to walk again and work to support the family.” Let’s raise the funds and support Ambi on her journey back to health!
