“I want to get well so that I can help her and continue supporting our children so that they can have brighter futures,” says Omboga from Kenya. This is Omboga, a 50-year-old father of seven with two grandchildren.
“Late last year, Omboga was on a motorbike taxi when the driver lost control and he was thrown off. Omboga’s knee hit a tree stump as he was landing,” explains our medical partner, the African Mission Healthcare Foundation (AMHF).
Omboga has a small banana and tea farm that he and his family tend, but he has been unable to work because of his injury. His knee requires surgery if it is to heal properly. AMHF tell us, “We expect that after the surgery, Omboga will be able to walk again and work on his farm.”
For $660, Omboga will receive treatment for his knee and he will be able to walk normally. Let’s help him heal so he can continue working on his farm!
