Rey is a seven year old girl in second grade with two brothers. She enjoys staying at home, reading books, and working on her school assignments.
However, Rey has had a mandible mass on the left side of her mouth for a while now. It is difficult for her to open her mouth fully, and the mass is slowly growing larger. She often feels uncomfortable, and it has made it difficult for her to eat. So, Rey traveled with her mother to reach Watsi’s medical partner, Children’s Surgical Center, for treatment.
For $224, surgeons at CSC will perform an excision surgery to remove the mass and suture the open wound to ensure a speedy recovery. After receiving hospital respite and medications, Rey will return to school comfortably and in good health.
Let’s support Rey, so that she may return to school and have a normal, healthy childhood.
