Lucia is an adorable three-year-old from Tanzania who loves to play in her neighborhood. She is an active girl, but her legs have been progressively bowing since she started walking, and it’s holding her back.
Lucia’s mother is a tailor and her father is a businessman. They want their daughter to live a normal, healthy life, but they do not make enough money to afford the cost of surgery their daughter needs.
Lucia’s parents told our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, “This is our first child and we are surprised by the drastic changes of her legs. We really hope that something can be done to help her as we would like to see her able to walk to school and grow just like other children.”
Let’s raise the $555 needed to help Lucia walk normally!
