Aguma is a farmer from Uganda. She a mother of two: a girl and a boy. Aguma is a single mother who lost both of her parents while she was still in school.
Since she was very young, Aguma has had an epigastric hernia. The hernia causes her pain and weakness and affects her ability to work on her farm. Fortunately, on March 14, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Aguma’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably.
She says, “After surgery I will be able to do farming again and be able to take care of my children.’’
