Raymond is 22 years old and a nursing student from Uganda. He is the third among four siblings. Growing up, he never got a chance to see his parents, as both died in a car accident. But under the support of his uncle, Raymond grew up in the care of an organization for orphans and was able to complete his secondary studies.
Raymond has a swelling on his right arm. It has now started to cause pain and discomfort, affecting his ability to perform daily tasks. When he came for an assessment, Raymond was seen by the surgeon, who diagnosed him with a ganglion cyst.
Raymond traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On August 6th, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Raymond needs help to raise $137 to fund this procedure.
Raymond says, “This has affected my day-to-day life in a sense that I can’t even write, hold, or do anything without feeling pain. I kindly appeal to you for support because the organization that supports my education doesn’t cover medical, yet I am just a student.”
