Ewinyu is a pharmacy salesman from Uganda. He is 50 years old, married, and a father of four boys. His wife is a nursery school teacher.
About six months ago, Ewinyu developed a hernia in his right inguinal region. He tried visiting the regional referral hospital, but the doctors were on strike and he did not receive treatment. For the last two months, he has had difficulty lifting boxes of drugs. Fortunately, on April 18, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Ewinyu’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Ewinyu says, “I hope to have peace of mind and resume work as a salesman.”
