Thorn is a cheerful and outgoing 39-year-old mother from Cambodia. One year ago, Thorn was thrown from a motorbike and broke her hip. Ever since then, she has been unable to work on her farm because of severe pain and difficulty moving around.
Surgeons want to repair Thorn’s hip through an open reduction internal fixation, or ORIF surgery, but she cannot afford the $300 procedure while also taking care of her five children. Her three boys and two girls are the center of Thorn’s world, and she says she looks forward to caring for them after she receives treatment.
With our support, Thorn can receive medical care and get back to living a happy, healthy, and productive life with her family!
