Loveness is a warm 11-year-old student from Tanzania. She is the third child in her family of five, and she lives with her mother. Her mother supports their family selling clothing in their town. Loveness enjoys school and is eager to learn.
Loveness was born with bilateral clubfoot, a condition in which the feet grow inward instead of out, making it difficult to walk. On August 4, Loveness will undergo surgery at our medical partner’s care center, Arusha Lutheran Medical Centre (ALMC), to correct her clubfeet. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is asking for $890 to cover the cost of her treatment.
After treatment, Loveness is expected to walk, play, and go to school without any difficulty!
