Arinda is a child from Uganda. He is seven years old with four siblings. Both his parents are small-scale farmers.
Arinda has a left inguinal scrotal hernia. This has made his quality of life poor. Fortunately, on May 29, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Arinda’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
His mother says, “I hope my son gets relieved of this condition and I continue with cultivation so that we may earn a living.”
