Nkwasibwe is a 27-year-old father of four children. His children are all in school, and he is paying for their education. Both he and his wife are farmers.
Nkwasibwe has been diagnosed with an inguinal hernia. He has had the hernia for two years. He is unable to bend, lift heavy items, or work long hours on his farm. Nkwasibwe is worried about his health.
“I have a lot of pain and I am worried about my life,” says Nkwasibwe.
Nkwasibwe never visited a hospital because he did not think he could afford treatment. He finally came to our medical partner’s care center, Holy Family Virika Hospital. There, he will undergo a repair surgery on November 30.
After surgery, Nkwasibwe hopes to work as a taxi driver to support his family.
