Say hello to Sinet! Sinet is a 36-year-old father-of-two from Cambodia who works as a rice farmer.
Sinet has had pterygiums, a non-cancerous growth in the tissue of the eye, for the past 10 years. Pterygiums causes blurred vision, burning and irritation.
“This makes it hard for Sinet to work as a rice farmer and support his family,” shares our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre. “Sinet worries that we will become blind.”
$150 covers the cost of surgery for Sinet and allow his to regain his vision. After treatment, he is excited to read the newspaper once again. Watsi donors, let’s help Sinet out!

Sinet received surgery to restore his vision.
Sinet is thankful to the doctors and looks forward to returning to work to support his family and being able to watch TV again!
“After a successful surgery, the pterygium on Sinet’s left eye has been removed,” reports his doctor. “Sinet is relieved that he feels less pain and irritation.”
