Say hello to Sinet! Sinet is a 36-year-old father-of-two from Cambodia who works as a rice farmer. Sinet has had pterygiums, a non-cancerous growth in the tissue of the eye, for the past 10 years. Pterygiums causes blurred vision, burning and irritation. “This makes it hard for Sinet to work as a rice farmer and support his family,” shares our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre. “Sinet worries that we will become blind.” $150 covers the cost of surgery for Sinet and allow his to regain his vision.
