Meet 60-year-old Kom from Cambodia, a mother of seven children and a grandmother of nine!
“For three years, Kom’s vision has been blurred because of the mature cataracts in her eyes,” explains our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre. “This makes it hard for Kom to work on the rice farm and she is sad that she cannot go things for herself and family. She fears she will go blind.”
After the cataract surgery, which costs $150, Kom is “most looking forward to being able to care for her grandchildren – and watch her favorite show on TV.” Watsi donors, let’s help Kom start her 2015 happy and healthy!
