Meet 10-year-old Mahindra from Nepal! According to our medical partner, Possible, “Mahindra studies in Standard 3 in a local school, and likes English Language classes the most.” For fun, Mahindra “likes to play football with his friends in the school and at home.”
Recently, Mahindra was climbing up a guava tree to pluck some fruits to eat when he slipped and fractured his right humerus. His doctors share, “After he fell, he was in a lot of pain and he could not properly move his arm.”
Mahindra lives with eleven family members who grow seasonal crops in a small plot of land as well as have a small grocery in the village nearby. His dad says, “We can hardly afford to earn our daily food, we cannot bear the cost of the treatment.”
For $205, Mahindra will be able to receive treatment for his arm. Let’s help him get back to playing football with his friends!
