Scovia is a 31-year-old mother of three from Uganda. Growing up, she dreamed of becoming a banker, but was unable to advance in her education due to a lack of school fees. Scovia is now a trained hairdresser, and while she seeks for capital to establish a hair salon, she works alongside her husband as a small-scale farmer.
Scovia is currently expecting her fourth child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section due to a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Scovia undergo a C-Section on September 3rd. This procedure will cost $252, and Scovia needs your support.
Scovia says, “It will be a blessing undergoing my surgery under your support, because at home we surely have nothing even to sell off to afford the surgery. I appeal to you for support.”
