Moo is a 12-year-old boy from Burma. He lives with his family in a refugee camp in Sob Moei District, Mae Hong Son Province, Thailand. Moo was born and raised in the camp with his younger brother. His parents are originally from Bago Division, Burma, but moved to the camp in 2006 due to conflicts happening in their village. Moo’s mother is a homemaker, while his father works as a day labourer. During his free time, he enjoys In his free time, he likes to play football with his friends and also play with his younger brother at home.
One day ago, Moo began to experience troubling symptoms, including abdominal pain, vomiting, and fever. He was diagnosed with appendicitis and now needs surgery to prevent his condition from worsening.
Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is helping Moo receive treatment. He is scheduled to undergo an appendectomy, a surgery to remove the appendix when it becomes infected, on August 7th. This procedure will cost $1500, and Moo and his family need your support.
Moo said, “I have abdominal pain and I feel very bad. I hope that my pain will go away.”
